As massive preparations for the G8 Summit are underway, Canadian Prime Minister and summit host Adderly (Bruce Greenwood) and U.S. President Aimes (Christopher Plummer) must race against time to prevent a catastrophic terrorist attack. A military-engineered virus has been smuggled inside the summit compound that threatens the future of the western world.
The Summit’s all-star cast also includes James Purefoy, Wendy Crewson, Rachelle Lefevre, Mia Maestro, Stephen McHattie, and Lisa Ray.
The Summit is the recipient of dozens of international recognitions and one of the most ambitious Canadian miniseries produced, with shooting in London, Ecuador, northern Ontario and Jamaica.
