TORONTO, June 23, 2020 – Media Headquarters is pleased to announce that its smashing docuseries, Salvage Kings, is renewed for a second season on HISTORY®. Premiering in April 2021, Season 2 will pack in more exhilarating demolitions, and more valuable finds from Priestly Demolition’s salvage team, over 10 hour-long episodes.
“With everything going on in the world today, salvage is huge, and Ted and his team are the best salvagers in the business,” said Robert Cohen, CEO and Executive Producer. “I’m thrilled that audiences will continue to follow the salvage team at Priestly as they recover valuable objects from the wrecking ball and give them a new life. There are lots of amazing discoveries in store for this season!”
In season two of Salvage Kings, returning cast members Ted Finch, Justin Fortin and Ryan Priestly are joined by several new faces who bring their own unique skill and passion to the salvage team. Audiences will meet Salvage Assistants Brandon Campeau and Maya Raye, and Salvage Mechanic Ron Grogan.
Salvage Kings follows Priestly Demolition’s Head of Salvage Ted Finch and his crew – modern-day treasure hunters who stop at nothing to uncover rare and valuable objects from buildings that are on the verge of demolition. They are pushed to their limits as they scour through demanding demolition sites to ensure no hidden gems are left behind and lost forever.
Salvage Kings is produced by Media Headquarters in association with Corus Studios for HISTORY®.
