ACCOLADES CONTINUE TO POUR IN FOR THE GREAT POLAR BEAR ADVENTURE

Media Headquarters is pleased to announce that its family movie THE GREAT POLAR BEAR ADVENTURE has won a Gemini Award for Best Original Music Score for a Program or Mini-Series. The show received a total of 3 nominations: Best Original Music Score for a Program or Mini-Series, Best Direction in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series and Best Visual Effects.

Earlier THE GREAT POLAR BEAR ADVENTURE took home the award for Best Children’s Production at the Yorkton Short Film & Video Festival. Entering into it’s 60th year, the Yorkton Short Film & Video Festival is the longest running festival of its kind in Canada.

THE GREAT POLAR BEAR ADVENTURE takes viewers inside the secret life of polar bears and the dramas they experience in their fierce northern habitat. The family movie, featuring the voices of Howie Mandel and Megan Follows, was nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Children/Youth/Family Special this year.
